Hello and come on in :O) My name is Lisa and I started this blog for two reasons the first is that I love connecting with other bloggers and the second is that I LOVE writing. I started out with a few health and fitness blog posts, that led on to some poetry, from there I moved on to short stories and, in 2019, I received the email telling me that my debut novel, From His Perspective was available on Amazon. There is a rush that writing gives me that I don’t get from anything else and I have no intention of stopping any time soon.
I’m constantly looking for ways to unleash my inner kid whilst, at the same time, keeping my mind as peaceful but as active possible; I don’t always succeed but I’ve got no intention of giving up. I might be growing older but there’s no way I’m growing up!
I love getting the email that tells me someone has commented on a post so I really hope that you’ll take a few minutes to read a some of the stuff that I’ve written and give me your views. It doesn’t matter if you agree or disagree; I’m just always looking for new ideas and new people to interact with.
Lisa x
Thanks for signing up to follow my blog on diet, exercise and living past 100. Sounds to me from your post that you are doing a good job of living healthy and enjoying yourself Keep up the good work. I think you will be better off if you subscribe to the dictum – age is just a number – and put the 20 somethngs in your rear view mirror. You are doing great as you are.

Thanks for your lovely comments Tony; the 20 something is more attitude than anything else – I’m OK with getting older, I just don’t want to grow up :O)
Love your blog – keep up the good work yourself!
Have a great day and thanks again

Good, upbeat post, Lisa. Since I’m 60 and my son is in his 30s, I’ll be content on being 30-something! 20-something may be somewhat of a challenge!! 😂

Nice to meet you Lisa. I don’t see why anyone should grow up. I may have a go at it occasionally, but I always seem to fail. As I don’t like failing, I don’t try to grow up too often.

I’m also middle aged but couldn’t persistently achieve the ‘in my twenties’ vibe. I vacillate between about 90 and about ten. With a preference for ten.

Well as long as the ’10’ days outweigh the ’90’ you’ll be doing OK :O) x

Perhaps if I average it out, I am in my 20’s 🙂

Love the bit about having no intention of growing up. I’m a young adult myself and already have decided that some aspects of growing up I want nothing to do with 😉
