My First Sale!

As you all know, I finished writing my first book a few months ago and decided to go the self-publishing route using Kindle Direct Publishing. It will be published on 31st July so is only currently available for pre-order but someone (who I shall hug should I ever meet them) has bought a copy!!

  1. Dear Lisa, I shall be buying a copy (hopefully available in Australia), I buy and support many of my fellow bloggers here on WP…. xxx
The Waterboys were huge fans of W.B.Yeats and did many songs/tunes using the words of his poems….I hope enjoy this one xx

  2. That’s absolutely wonderful Lisa. I missed you saying you had published it on Kindle. What is it called? How do I find it? I would love to read it. Hugs.

    1. Hiya Lorraine, it’s called From His Perspective- I’d love to send a link but not sure how from my phone. If you type in Lisa Keeble you should find it 😊 how’re you doing? From your poems it seems life’s a bit tough at the moment – sending hugs xxxxx

      1. I found your name and the title of your book but it comes up in dollars. Couldn’t find it in pounds on the Uk site.

I have written MANY happy poems. I guess you just read themlast one or two that may be sadder. I am doing okay but trying very hard to deal with Using my blog and going to the blogs of other people whilst going even blinder. It’s hard as Inhave no teacher and can’t find one, not even for money! I have written MANY funny posts this past week. Mi am not all sad and grief stricken, but if I do feel that way I sometimes write about it. I am just trying to learn how to go on with things without becoming a vegetable. Bound to get some sad days. My body sadly is deteriorating, which scares me. We had a bad diagnosis recently. But I DO still write MANY happy or humourous posts as that is what people want. I try to overcome. Hard as it is. I would love to read your book

      2. Try on amazon.co.uk and not .com and it should be there in £. I can help you with the blog if you like 😊 tell me what you need to do and I’ll email instructions- no charge 😉
Sorry I didn’t want to imply all your posts are sad, not at all but I’ve seen some that showed you were having a bit of a tough time – just wanted to give a shout out and a virtual hug 🤗 xx

      3. Aww thanks Lisa. Yes I do have a hard time sometimes, and, after much thought and deliberation, decided NOT to cut out the sadder or blacker stuff, because it is useful to put it out there. But for some reason weekends feel hard, and often it might be all that you read as my happier posts are usually spread through the week. But I have actually been writing a lot about a place called Wildsworth, with an interesting history, watching a lamb being born as we were passing one day, and also as I announced yesterday, I am going to be writing about the tale of Jenny Hearne who floated on the River Trent in what looked like a pie dish 😀 the River Trent is said to have healing powers and I can quite believe it as it drew me, and made me feel connected to it. It is a beautiful place. I dont know what you could do to help Lisa. I need a blind teacher but cant find one. We’ve tried really hard. I am trying to teach myself but hubby is SO busy he hasn’t time to help me try to learn things. I am praying for a teacher to come along! Thanks for the iffer. But back to YOU. Keep writing and I really hope you do another book. Hope this one goes well too. Lots of love and hugs xo

    1. Yep it’s pretty much like that to be honest – wondering if you’ll end up stuck on your own labelled as ‘Billy no mates’ and then desperately clinging onto your first guest, hoping they invited some friends from the pub ;O) x
