I’m So Excited!

I just can’t hide it! I’m about to lose control and I think I like it! If you’re wondering what I am babbling about and whether I’ve finally lost the plot – it’s this and I haven’t (well not yet I don’t think):

I’ve had a poem published :O) I’ve been putting a few things out there over the last few weeks and have had a few rejections but then the lovely people at Spillwords contacted me to say that they were going to publish my poem today!!!

Added to that I also had an email from another site yesterday to say that they were going to publish one of my stories so you’ll be getting another thoroughly over-excited post towards the end of the month.

When I started this blog I had no idea that I would find a love of writing or so many wonderful people who would give me the encouragement and support I needed to even think about doing it professionally. Love and hugs to you all.

Of life ever after, of love ever after
Conditional on blind devotion, a jest?
Exquisite manipulation of senseless souls
Lost in the search of meaning and lifelong purpose
Led, oh so willingly, to believe there is more
What lies after? More lies? Eternal life? Like this?
Endlessly searching the missing piece of my soul
Forcibly ripped by all knowing, all powerful
There is reason, a reason, no comprehension
Given and taken, a blessing. Eternal curse.
We shoulder the burden of a heart that can break
I will love you forever, with you forever
I am weary of promises made and broken…..

      3. I might Lisa. But with the blindness etc, I can’t work the way to submit out, and manage to do it. And hubby is so busy looking after me that he hasn’t the time to help me out. This morning we have been trying to set up a Page in my Blig especially for my cancer story,cwhuch I know woukd be deeply inspirational, but we can’t fathom it. We)ve been trying all morning. It should be so simple but it is not. So in the end I am hapoy that people here in WP find at least my piems inspirational. I could not ask for more. My lufe is not as useless as I thought it was lol xoxoxo and many many hugs dear friend

      4. I can send you some links to submission pages if that would help – it’s just a case of entering your details and attaching your submission..
        For the page go into ‘Manage’ and then ‘Site Pages’ and click on ‘Add’ – that should give you what you need. Hugs back at you :O) xx

      5. Oh bless you Lisa. Thankyou. We were trying to do it from a You Tube vid but it was based on the setup of some years ago we think. I’ll tell hubby and see if he can do it tonight. Ok, thanks you can send me some submission pages if you have time. Let’s see what happens. But for now, it’s bubbly all round for YOU. Bless you for caring about me xo

      7. Oh lol Lusa, it says my page is live but it is not showing in a tab at the top. I think it is in Uncategiruzed simewhere, can’t find it lol

      11. Lol I went into Cystomize but still can’t work it out and am scared of destroying my whole site like we did once before, ha! It says it is in Uncategorized, but being blind, I can’t see it. I just need the Tab though. Someone else set this site up for me but she is out of my life now so can’t ask her for help. The Page is there, in Uncategoruzed, but then my whole Blog is in Uncategorised. I might have to give up if hubby can’t solve it after his salmon and pasta lol
