Merry Christmas One and All

After much soul searching, worrying and general stress (all self-inflicted) I have decided to go to Rome for Christmas. I have decided to give myself permission to feel sad if the need comes upon me, to politely duck out of something if I need to be alone and to enjoy what I can without feeling guilty about doing so.Β

After much soul searching, worrying and general stress (all self-inflicted) I have decided to go to Rome for Christmas. I have decided to give myself permission to feel sad if the need comes upon me, to politely duck out of something if I need to be alone and to enjoy what I can without feeling guilty about doing so.

I’ve also decided to leave my laptop at home so I’ll be away from my blog and all of you guys for the next couple of weeks. I’ll miss you all and I hope that, whatever you are doing, you have the best Christmas you can possibly have and that the New Year brings you what you most desire. In my (almost) year of writing drivel on here I’ve realised that there are some really, truly wonderful people out there in blogging land so, along with seasonal best wishes I wanted to give you my thanks….for everything :O)

Love and hugs to you all

  1. Be happy, be sad, be you. Enjoy the break, enjoy Rome. When today’s world can’t stop a drone closing an airport for two days marvel at the skills and vision of those ancient Romans.
    Love from us both xx

  2. I’m glad you’ve made a decision and I hope you can have the best time possible. This time of year can be so challenging – Definitely remember you’re entitled to say no, take a break and duck out whenever you need, no questions asked. Prioritise your own needs and self-care. Wishing you the best Christmas possible, take care of yourself Lisa πŸŽ„
