You Come for Me

Each morning, from afar, dispelling the gloom

I step gratefully into your warm embrace

Leaving behind the loneliness of last night

I look for you to cleanse my soul, aching heart

From pain, from memories of deep, lasting loss

You rise, rise,slowly spreading your healing light

I bask in each glorious ray that shines on me

Cling on to the end, when you fade. You leave me

To the company of fears in my silent room

I watched the sun rise this morning and it was absolutely magnificent, it also prompted me to write this…
